Architectural Derivations are a series of works made in 2013 for an exhibitions at the Oak Park Library, Oak Park IL. Working from sketches and photographs of residential architecture a series of painting was produced focused on developing decorative patterns into images of structural forms or paneling. The works are painted in gouache on paper.
