Remote Viewing
Remote Viewing is a proposed series of works (currently there is one), where a work of art is observed via webcam in real time using a web browser. Ideally the work should be placed adjacent to a window or other device that clearly shows the passage of time and / or the local conditions.
The idea for this work was conceived several years ago but unrealized until now. The Coronavirus Pandemic and ensuing lockdown / isolation has meant that experiencing works of art in real time has been challenging. These works will hopefully be read as a humorous response to the challenge of visiting galleries in this current moment and seeing art in real time.
