Artist in Residence at Maker Media Lab in San Francisco

I’m back in California for a few weeks as Artist in Residence at the Maker Media Lab in the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. While I am here I will work on my third 3D printed book “The Young Man In Architecture” about Louis H Sullivan and his early ornament. I am also hoping to work on a device to “hand color” filament in a controlled way and if time and weather permits fly some drones and scan some stuff with them. I’m at the Lab most days so if you are in San Francisco and want to see me IRL stop by hand say hi.

Holly and I both have work in Superstrata a group show at The Compound Gallery in Oakland, CA. So i’ll probably spend a bit out time out there installing the show and so forth. Superstrata opens July 18th so if you are in the area please check it out. I’m installing a suite of small sculptural works from the “Plotting Curves” series printed last year during my Artist in Residence at the Art Institute of Chicago.
