Hybrid’s Paradise at the Evanston Art Center

I’m excited to announce that “Future Biometrics” a 3D printed poem that I was commissioned to produce for the Poetry Foundation earlier in the year will be included in the inaugural exhibition “Hybrid’s Paradise” curated by Sergio Gomez at the new Evanston Art Center location. It’s a great lineup with many really awesome artists from the Chicago area.

June 14 to August 9, 2015
Opening Reception: Sunday, June 14th from 1 to 4 pm

“Hybrid’s Paradise is comprised primarily of works by Chicago based artists and explores dualities, sequences, pairings, and other hybrid structures of organic, mechanical, social, political, spiritual and/or psychological natures.

Reflecting on the current state of an interconnected, fast-evolving society and celebrating the Evanston’s Art Center’s new multi-disciplinary space, this multi-media art exhibition presents a subjective and personal view of a hybrid world experience. From cultural and genetic to technological fusions, the works in this exhibition embody a state of change and transformation. In this new paradigm, human adaptation to an always changing environment is inevitable. Thus, hybrid’s paradise has arrived” – Sergio Gomez
